Comfort analysis

Different skylight shading will affect indoor comfort. Schemes 2 and 3 can both reduce indoor PMV and significantly improve indoor thermal comfort.

  • Temperature at 5.2m is approximately 0.3°C higher than at 1.2m.

  • The adjustable shading effect is most pronounced on the summer solstice, reducing by approximately 3°C, PMV remains greater than 1. Measures should be taken to lower the temperature.

  • The temperature is lowest on the winter solstice. Consider adjusting the shading angle to maximize solar radiation.
